BJP Holds Protest Rally At Udaipur in Lahaul and Spiti Against Himachal Government Policies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today held a protest rally in Udaipur subdivision of Lahaul and Spiti district under the leadership of former minister Govind Singh Thakur, opposing what the party described as “anti-people policies” and the Himachal Pradesh government’s alleged neglect of public interests.

During the rally, BJP office-bearers and workers raised slogans against the state government and voiced concerns over its functioning, alleged anti-people decisions, neglect of development works and various issues affecting the public. The protesters demanded immediate action on matters related to public welfare.

Addressing the gathering, Govind Singh Thakur said the state government must take serious steps to address issues affecting the people. He said resolving public grievances should be a priority for any government, but the present administration’s functioning was increasing disappointment among people.

The BJP leader alleged that important public issues were not being addressed adequately and called for greater attention to development and basic concerns of residents.

Former MLA and BJP State Working Committee member Ravi Thakur and District BJP President Rigzin Samphel Heyerpa were also present at the protest. A large number of BJP workers, along with district and mandal office-bearers and party functionaries, participated in the rally. The protest was organised by the Lahaul-Spiti BJP unit.
