Former CPS Sohan Lal Thakur Holds Meetings with Congress Workers at Sundernagar in Mandi.

Senior Congress leader and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sohan Lal Thakur held interaction meetings with dedicated party workers and local office-bearers in Charkhari, Badhu, Rohara and Presi panchayats of the Sundernagar Assembly constituency in Mandi district today.
During the meetings, Thakur discussed ways to further strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots level and encouraged workers to remain connected with local communities. Party workers and local representatives also highlighted various public issues, developmental requirements and priorities concerning their respective areas.
Thakur said that listening to people at the local level was essential for understanding their concerns and ensuring timely action. He stated that several issues raised during the meetings were taken up with the concerned administrative authorities, with necessary directions issued for their early resolution.
He emphasised that public welfare and balanced development should remain at the centre of governance. Thakur said that protecting basic facilities and addressing the concerns of people, particularly those living in rural and remote areas, must receive due priority.
He also urged party workers to maintain regular dialogue with citizens and work collectively towards resolving local issues. He said strengthening public participation and ensuring effective delivery of government services would contribute to the overall development of the Sundernagar constituency.
