CM Dedicates 61 Development Projects Worth Rs 182.87 Crore in Rohru.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 61 development projects worth Rs 182.87 crore in the Rohru Assembly constituency of Shimla district during his visit to Chirgaon today.
At a programme held at the Nagar Panchayat Ground, Chirgaon, the Chief Minister inaugurated several major water supply, irrigation, road and education projects aimed at strengthening basic infrastructure and improving public services in the constituency.
Among the projects inaugurated were functional household tap connection schemes in Badiyara and surrounding areas in Gram Panchayat Kulgaon, village Chillala and adjoining villages in Gram Panchayat Bhampad, and the lift water supply scheme for Sundha Bonda and surrounding areas. He also inaugurated lift irrigation schemes for horticultural land from Lahhasa to Shekhal and for Kulgaon and surrounding areas.
A number of road projects were also inaugurated, including the Kulgaon link road, Jaloh-Gad road, Shil-Saungi-Mandla road, Chenu-Balson road, link roads to Melthi, Tikkari, Jishkoon and Jarkot, and the Narsai-Dalgaon road. The Government Senior Secondary School building at Bhaloon was also among the completed projects inaugurated.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for a Rs 25 crore 50-bed Critical Care Block and District Integrated Public Health Laboratory at Civil Hospital Rohru. He also laid the foundation stones for a Science Block at Government Senior Secondary School Jaga and a new building for Government Senior Secondary School Dodra.
Several other road connectivity and restoration works were also taken up through foundation stones and Bhoomi Pujan, including link roads, road damage restoration, culverts, metalling and tarring works across different parts of the constituency.
Sukhu said the projects would significantly strengthen basic infrastructure and public services in Rohru. He said improved road connectivity would facilitate smoother movement of vehicles and strengthen the overall road network, while the water supply schemes would provide residents with better access to safe and reliable drinking water.
