MLA Prakash Rana Targets Congress Government Over Slow Development, Promises to Complete Pending Works.

Shimla:

BJP MLA from Jogindernagar Assembly constituency in Mandi district, Prakash Rana, has criticised the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh over the pace of development and alleged neglect of local areas, assuring people that pending and incomplete projects would be prioritised if the BJP returns to power.

During a series of public outreach programmes in Drubbal, Kunka booth, Ghanetar booth of Pipli panchayat and Kuthehra panchayat, Rana interacted with local residents and discussed their grievances, development needs and the status of ongoing and pending works.

Rana said people had expressed concern over the pace of development and the resolution of public grievances during the tenure of the present Congress government. He claimed that several development works had either been stalled or remained incomplete, raising questions about the government’s priorities and its response to the needs of local communities.

At the meetings, Rana listened to residents’ concerns and discussed issues related to infrastructure, local development and public welfare. He said direct interaction with people was essential to understanding their problems and ensuring that their concerns remained central to political priorities.

Referring to his visits to different panchayats, Rana alleged that the region had faced discrimination under the present government and said people were increasingly seeking a renewed focus on development. He asserted that the BJP was committed to addressing these concerns and restoring momentum to projects that had been delayed or left unfinished.

Rana assured residents that, if the BJP formed the government in the state, pending and incomplete development works would be taken up on a priority basis. He also pledged to make efforts to remove alleged regional disparities and ensure that local development needs received due attention.

Despite delays in the schedule of one of the public programmes, Rana said the enthusiasm shown by residents reflected their interest in local issues and development.

Emphasising public trust as the foundation of his political work, Rana reiterated his commitment to public service and maintaining direct communication with people across the Jogindernagar constituency.
