Heroic Operation Saves Cow’s Life in Janjheli in Mandi.

A dedicated team from the Janjheli Veterinary Hospital successfully saved a cow after a challenging operation on October 10, 2024. The incident occurred at 3:15 PM when the owner, Tej Singh, from the village of Munhar, reported that his cow had given birth to a calf, which unfortunately died inside womb of cow. The cow, distressed and unable to stand, required immediate veterinary intervention.
The team from the 1962 ambulance service, led by Veterinarian Dr. Tarun and Paravet Kushal, quickly responded to the emergency. They assessed the situation alongside local veterinary officer Dr. Abhimanyu Sharma and local pharmacists Pink Raj, Ghanshyam, and Bhim Singh.
After thorough examination, it was determined that surgery was necessary. The local veterinary officer and other team members gathered the required surgical supplies and worked together to operate on the cow. By 8:45 PM, the team successfully removed the deceased calf, allowing the cow to recover.
The collaboration and swift action of the Janjheli 1962 team and local veterinary staff exemplified outstanding commitment to animal welfare, showcasing their dedication to serving the community.
