Indian Navy’s Eastern Naval Command Showcases Operational Excellence at Spectacular Demo in Visakhapatnam.

The Indian Navy’s Eastern Naval Command (ENC) presented a breathtaking Operational Demonstration (Op Demo) at the iconic Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, today. The event, attended by a record number of spectators, highlighted the Navy’s operational excellence and cutting-edge capabilities.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, was the Chief Guest at the event, joined by senior dignitaries, including the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and citizens from across the state. The demonstration, which was also broadcast live, drew large crowds, who witnessed an impressive array of naval prowess.
The Op Demo featured spectacular displays of warships, aircraft, submarines, and elite MARCOS (Marine Commandos), showcasing the Indian Navy’s diverse capabilities. The grand finale included a Beating Retreat Ceremony by the ENC, a flawless Continuity Drill, and an awe-inspiring Laser and Drone Show, leaving the audience captivated.
In his address, Chief Minister Naidu praised the Indian Navy’s valor and technological advancements, highlighting the vital role the Navy plays in safeguarding the nation’s maritime borders. He also acknowledged the long-standing relationship between Andhra Pradesh and the Navy, underscoring the importance of the Navy’s community outreach efforts.
Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command, expressed his gratitude to the state government and local administration for their steadfast support in organizing the event. He also thanked the people of Andhra Pradesh for their enthusiastic participation, which added immense value to the demonstration.
