In a highly competitive contest, Suhani Katohch from Kangra emerged victorious, claiming the title of Winter Queen Manali 2025. Amisha Thakur from Sirmaur secured the position of First Runner-Up, while Aditi Negi from Manali became the Second Runner-Up. The prestigious crown was presented by Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Bhuvneshwar Gaur, who also extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.
The event saw intense competition among 20 contestants, who battled for the coveted title. The top five finalists included Himani Khanna from Shimla, Aditi Negi from Manali, Amisha Thakur from Sirmaur, Ishita Rana from Mandi, and Suhani Katohch from Kangra. These five contestants were tasked with answering questions related to women’s issues, and each gave their responses with confidence and poise. In the final round, the competition for the crown was tough and closely contested.
Before reaching the top five, the competition saw ten other talented contestants in the race. They included Suhani from Arunachal Pradesh, Tanishka from Rampur, Himani Verma from Shimla, Aditi Negi from Manali, Amisha Thakur from Sirmaur, Ishita Rana from Mandi, Komal Preet from Chandigarh, Meenakshi Sharma from Lahaul Spiti, Suhani Katohch from Kangra, and Sneha from Mandi. These contestants demonstrated their remarkable talent and skills to secure a place in the final five.
The event kicked off on January 22 at the Manu Rangshala, where the first round took place, featuring a catwalk and introductions of the contestants. Unfortunately, due to a tragic incident on the 22nd, where a youth lost his life, the cultural evening scheduled for the 23rd was canceled. Nevertheless, on January 24, the contestants participated in a vibrant display, highlighting the message of unity in diversity, with performances reflecting India’s cultural richness.
The grand finale concluded with the MLA Bhuvneswar Gaur participating in the final cultural evening, held on January 25. He honored the winners and expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the carnival. The event not only showcased the beauty and talent of the participants but also emphasized the importance of cultural unity and empowerment of women.
