The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the much-anticipated New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 today. The event, a celebration of global literature, is being held in the heart of the capital and features an extensive array of books in multiple languages from both India and abroad.

In her address at the inauguration, President Murmu emphasized the transformative power of reading, stating that it is far more than just a pastime. “Reading books is not just a hobby; it is a transformative experience,” she remarked.
