“A Tribute to the Martyrs” Held in Mandi during the second cultural evening of International Shivaratri festival.

The second cultural evening of the International Shivaratri Festival in Mandi was organized under the theme “A Tribute to the Martyrs.”

The Artists from Malaysia and Kazakhstan spellbound the audience.

Nati King, Kuldeep Sharma, a Himachali singer enthralled the audience by his performance. Sapna Chauhan, a popular artist from Mandi also performed on the stage along with Nati King. Her dance also spell bound the audience.

Dharmpur MLA, Chander Shekhar, attended the event as the chief guest, accompanied by his wife, Kavita Shekhar. The Deputy Commissioner honored the chief guest with handcrafted products from Mandav Him Ira.

During the event, the Deputy Commissioner and President of the International Shivaratri Committee, Apurv Devgan, felicitated the families of martyrs, including Veer Nariyan (brave widows) like Pushpa Devi, wife of martyr Nayak Dharam Singh, Neha Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Sandeep Kumar, Vyasa Devi, wife of martyr Havildar Prakash Chand, Sunita Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Shesh Ram, Urmila Devi, wife of martyr Nayak Inder Singh, Satya Devi, wife of martyr Naik Subedar Khem Raj, Lata Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Tej Singh, Neetu Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Bhupinder Kumar, Indira Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Inder Singh, Bhanupriya, wife of martyr Nayak Subedar Rakesh Kumar, Constable Police Shweta Devi, wife of martyr Havildar Naval Kishore, Chinta Devi, wife of martyr Sepoy Kishan Chand, and Nirmala Devi, mother of martyr Sepoy Heera Singh.
Officers from the Defense Women’s Welfare Association and the Ex-Servicemen League were also present at the event.
