Three Dead, Several Injured as Private Bus Plunges into Gorge in Himachal Pradesh.

A tragic road accident claimed the lives of three people, including the bus driver, and left several others critically injured when a private bus carrying 42 passengers plunged into a deep gorge in the Ani subdivision of Kullu district on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred around 11:30 am near Shakehad, on the Shwad-Ani route, leaving the bus severely mangled. Eyewitnesses reported scenes of chaos and panic as screams echoed from the wreckage. Local residents immediately sprang into action, rushing to the site to help with the rescue operations.

Police and administrative teams swiftly reached the accident site to assist with the rescue and recovery efforts. The injured were rushed to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Authorities have expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and are working to provide support to the injured.
