Brigadier Khushal Thakur Elected as President of District Ex-Servicemen League.

Brigadier Khushal Thakur has been elected as the new President of the District Ex-Servicemen League Mandi in the peaceful and orderly elections held on Friday, at Hotel Cigar in Suali Khadd Mandi district. The elections, organized under the chairmanship of Colonel Pratadh Singh, saw an efficient process, overseen by election observers from the League’s Head Office in Dharamsala. Colonel Khem Singh Madotra served as the election supervisor, with captain Pyar Chand taking on the role of election in-charge. The process began with a farewell speech from the outgoing executive committee, led by acting president Kashmir Singh, who informed the members about the successful completion of their term.
Subsequently, the outgoing committee was dissolved, and the election for a new committee commenced. The election results were announced with complete unanimity and transparency, with Brigadier Khushal Thakur securing the role of President. The other members elected to the new executive committee are:
- Senior Vice President: Captain Hetram Sharma.
- Vice President: Colonel Tara, Pratap Singh Rana
- General Secretary: Captain Vir Singh Guleria
- Treasurer: Captain Chetram Sharma
The election was conducted smoothly, and election observer Colonel Khem Singh Madotra authorized the new committee to expand its members as per their requirements to ensure the League’s growth and success.
