Former MLA and BJP leader Ravi Thakur from Lahaul and Spiti participated in the annual Rewalsar Tsechu festival in Mandi district today. During the event, the Gompa Committee honored him with a traditional Thangka painting as a mark of respect and appreciation.
The two-day event, which marks the birth anniversary of Buddhist Guru Padmasambhava, saw the presence of Sakya Rimpoche, who was invited to deliver spiritual teachings. Ravi Thakur expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the Tsechu festival, where he experienced a devout and devotional atmosphere, and was fortunate enough to receive blessings from Sakya Rinpoche.
