Newly Formed Mandi Press Club Executive Committee Meets Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, discusses key issues.

The newly constituted executive committee of the Mandi Press Club, led by its President Subhash Thakur, met Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and his Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan today in Shimla. The delegation briefed the Chief Minister about the club’s recent activities and shared its future plans.

Chief Minister Sukhu congratulated Subhash Thakur and the executive committee members on their new roles. Emphasizing the vital role of the media, he stated that the press is instrumental in disseminating the government’s public welfare schemes and development initiatives. He assured that the state government maintains a cordial relationship with the press and is always committed to addressing their concerns.
Principal Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan also extended his congratulations to the Mandi Press Club and announced plans to visit every district soon to engage in direct dialogue with media professionals across Himachal Pradesh.
During the meeting, Subhash Thakur highlighted various demands and issues concerning the club to the Chief Minister and held discussions on potential solutions.

Also present at the meeting were Seraj Congress Committee Secretary Jagdish Reddy and press club officials senior vice president Roop Lal Kondal, chief advisor Rajneesh Himalian, joint secretary Surender Sharma, Executive member Narender Sharma, senior journalists Roop Upadhyay and Dipender Manta.
This meeting marked a step forward in strengthening media-government relations and fostering transparent communication for the state’s development.
