Senior Citizens urge Minister Rajesh Dharmani to accelerate Jahu Airport Project.

A group of senior citizens from the Jahu region has once again appealed to Minister of Town and Country Planning and Vocational & Industrial Training,  Rajesh Dharmani, to expedite the long-pending Jahu Airport project, which is a border point of Mandi and Hamirpur districts.

In a letter addressed to the minister, the group highlighted that they have been advocating for this crucial infrastructure project for several years. They emphasized that the airport would provide significant opportunities for the younger generation in terms of employment and career development, while also boosting tourism and local businesses in the area.

“This project has the potential to change the economic landscape of our region. It will not only connect Jahu to major cities but also bring in new prospects for trade, education, and industry,” said Dr. HS Rana. The senior citizens earnestly requested Minister Dharmani to look into the matter and take necessary action to move the project forward.

The proposed airport is seen as a game-changer for the region, and locals are hopeful that their plea will bring renewed attention and momentum to the long-awaited development.
