Vietnam’s VinFast Electric SUVs to Hit Roads in Himachal; Devbhoomi Group Appointed Authorized Dealer.

Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast is all set to roll out its electric SUVs on the roads of Himachal Pradesh. Marking a significant step towards the green mobility revolution in India, VinFast has partnered with Devbhoomi Group of Companies as its authorized dealer in the state.
Announcing the development at a press conference held on Wednesday, Rajender Vashisht, Managing Director of Devbhoomi Group, stated that the first exclusive VinFast showroom in Himachal Pradesh will be opened in Shimla. This initiative makes Himachal one of the first hilly states in India to welcome VinFast’s electric vehicles.
VinFast, which plans to open 32 dealerships across 27 Indian cities, has partnered with 13 dealership groups in the country. The collaboration with Devbhoomi Group is expected to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the hilly terrain of Himachal, in line with both central and state government initiatives to promote eco-friendly transportation.
3S Model Showroom and SUV Launch
The upcoming Shimla showroom will operate on a 3S model—Sales, Service, and Spare Parts, ensuring a complete customer experience. Vashishta also announced that pre-bookings for VinFast’s VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs have already begun from July 15. These models are expected to be priced starting around Rs. 15 lakh, making them an attractive proposition in the growing EV segment.
Following the launch in Shimla, more VinFast showrooms will be established across other cities in Himachal Pradesh. The company hopes that this will not only make electric vehicles more accessible in the state but will also generate local employment opportunities in the auto and service sectors.
Devbhoomi Skoda Receives National Recognition
In a separate announcement, Vashisht revealed that Devbhoomi Skoda, which operates under the Devbhoomi Group, has been honored at the national level for its excellence in service and sales. Devbhoomi Skoda, the sole Skoda dealership in Himachal Pradesh, began operations in 2011 and currently has showrooms in Mandi and Solan districts.

These awards were presented by Skoda Auto India, recognizing the dealership’s exceptional customer service and sales performance.
Devbhoomi Group to Launch 100 Cinemas Across India
Expanding its footprint beyond the automobile and hospitality sectors, the Devbhoomi Group is now venturing into cinema and entertainment. Vashisht announced that the group plans to open 100 cinema halls across India under its new brand name, “Grand Cinemas”.
Several major cities in Himachal Pradesh will also soon see the launch of Grand Cinemas, offering improved entertainment experiences and boosting local employment.
With strategic expansions in automobiles, electric mobility, hospitality, and now entertainment, the Devbhoomi Group is emerging as a multifaceted enterprise with a strong presence in Himachal and beyond.
