Retired Veterinary Officers Donate Rs. 2.51 Lakh to Aid Flood-Affected Farmers in Himachal Pradesh.

In a significant gesture of solidarity and compassion, the Retired Veterinary Officers Association handed over a cheque of Rs. 2,51,000 to former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur, with the request that the amount be utilized to support farmers who have suffered losses during the recent devastating floods in the region.
The event took place in the presence of Inder Singh Gandhi, Balh MLA, and Ajay Rana, BJP state spokesperson, along with other dignitaries. The donation ceremony was led by Dr. H.S. Rana, accompanied by Dr. Man Singh Thakur and Dr. T.R. Lakhanpal. During the event, Dr. Rana appealed to Jai Ram Thakur, who currently serves as the Leader of Opposition, to ensure that the funds are directed towards helping farmers who lost livestock or had their animal sheds destroyed in the floods.

Expressing gratitude to the members of the association and well-wishers, Dr. Rana conveyed special thanks to contributors from across India and abroad who made this noble cause possible. Prominent names among the donors include:
