Abhilashi University, Chailchowk, marked the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Pro-Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi, who paid homage to the countless freedom fighters and brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. He urged everyone to uphold the values of freedom and dedicate themselves to nation-building & encouraged them to stay away from detrimental habits and instead focus on personal growth and nation-building. Accompanying him was Dr. Promila Abhilashi, Vice Chairperson of the Abhilashi Education Society.

In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.K. Chaudhary spoke to faculty, staff, and students about the enduring significance of Independence Day. He stressed the importance of sincerity, honesty, and dedication in fulfilling one’s duties and responsibilities, reminding all that the most meaningful tribute to our freedom fighters lies in contributing positively to the nation’s progress. He also reaffirmed the university’s commitment to academic excellence and the provision of quality education that meets the challenges of the modern era.

Adding to the patriotic ambiance, Dr. Rahul, Vice Principal of the Ayurveda Department, delivered soulful patriotic songs that deeply resonated with the audience. The program also featured the distribution of sweets and a heartfelt tribute to India’s courageous soldiers.

On this significant occasion, the university leadership—Chancellor Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Pro-Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi, Registrar Dr. Kapil Kapoor, Vice Chairperson of Abhilashi Education Society Dr. Promila Abhilashi, Chairperson of Genius Education Society Dr. Narvada Abhilashi, and Secretary Narendra Kumar—extended their warmest wishes to all.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Deans, Directors, faculty members, staff, and students from various departments, making the celebration a memorable and inspiring homage to India’s 79th Independence Day.
