In the recently announced rankings by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF), the university has secured the 59th position nationally among private institutions, 18th in the North Zone, and an impressive 2nd place in Himachal Pradesh for its Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program. Flagship BPT Program Garners National Recognition
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program at Abhilashi University has emerged as a benchmark in the allied health sciences domain. Known for its rigorous academic structure and hands-on training, the four-year curriculum followed by a six-month compulsory internship equips students with both theoretical foundations and real-world clinical expertise.
Students benefit from access to state-of-the-art laboratories and clinical facilities, including X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, and a wide range of advanced physiotherapy equipment. Expansion of Health Science Offerings
Building on its recent success and future-focused vision, Abhilashi University has introduced two new undergraduate health science programs, starting from the current academic year:
- B.Sc. Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology
This program aims to develop skilled professionals in anesthesia administration, surgical support, OT management, sterilization procedures, and patient monitoring—critical roles in modern surgical care. - B.Sc. Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT)
Designed to train students in diagnostic imaging, this program covers operation and management of X-ray machines, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound devices, preparing graduates for high-demand roles in hospitals and diagnostic centers.
