National Coordinator of All India Congress Committee (AICC) for media department  Amrit Gill said on Sunday at Mandi that BJP leaders and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi are spreading misleading propaganda regarding the Nyaya Patra issued by the Congress party regarding the Lok Sabha elections that Muslims will be given reservation separately. Whereas in reality there is nothing like that mentioned in the election menifesto of Congress.

Addressing the media persons in Mandi, Amrit Gill said that every section of the country has been taken care of through the five justices and 25 guarantees included in the Congress’ Nyaya Patra.  Deprived and left out sections of the society will be included in the mainstream of justice. Whereas the youth will be given their first permanent job after studies. Under this one lakh jobs will be provided in a year.

“PM Modi had promised to provide two crore jobs every year, which proved to be just a mere statement. Whereas, as soon as Congress comes to power, it will try to fill up 30 lakh government jobs which are lying vacant in different departments in the country. Under Women Justice, Rs. 1 lakh will be given annually to the elderly woman of the house. Apart from this, 50 percent reservation will be provided to women in jobs. The remuneration of Anganwadi, Asha workers and women working in central projects will be doubled. Under Kisan Nyay, GST on purchase of agricultural equipment to farmers will be abolished” said Gill.

Gill said that BJP candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency Kangana Ranaut had made indecent remarks against the women of Punjab. Whereas under Congress Kisan Nyay, Minimum Support Price (MSP) will be given legal recognition. Apart from this, the daily wage under MNREGA will be increased to Rs 400. She said that only Congress had brought a revolutionary law like MNREGA. Now MNREGA will be implemented in urban areas also.

Targeting the BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut, Amrit Gill said that what had Kangana done for the BJP that she was given party ticket despite the fact that she was not even a member of the BJP. This is a betrayal to the dedicated party workers of BJP.

Gill said that Congress candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha seat, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh is a visionary leader. His family has been in politics and serving the state for the last sixty years. She said that Kangana is the daughter of Himachal, but she was not seen anywhere at the time of the rain disaster in Himachal. However, many Bollywood stars have helped the state government in the time of disaster.

Gill said that Vikramaditya is connected with the people of the state. He will be seen serving the people even after the elections. But the people of Mandi will keep searching for Kangana like actor Sunny Deol, the MP who won from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab, if she wins the election.

“Kangana says that independence came after 2014. She should at least read books and give statements only after that” said Gill.
