Kullu Dussehra 2025 Dedicated to Disaster Relief: MLA Anuradha Rana and HP Women’s Commission Chair Vidya Negi Grace Second Cultural Evening.

The grandeur of the International Kullu Dussehra Festival 2025 continued into its second cultural evening, which witnessed an inspiring blend of cultural celebration and social responsibility. The evening was graced by Anuradha Rana, MLA from Lahaul-Spiti, and Vidya Negi, Chairperson of the Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Women, as the Chief Guests.
Also present on the occasion were Indira Thakur, wife of Dussehra Committee Chairman and local MLA Sunder Singh Thakur, along with Zila Parishad member Asha Thakur, Deepika, and Aruna. Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairperson of the Dussehra Festival Committee, Torul S. Ravish, warmly welcomed the dignitaries and appreciated their presence.

In her address, MLA Anuradha Rana praised the unique initiative by the Dussehra Committee, stating,
“It is truly commendable that this year’s Kullu Dussehra Festival is being dedicated to supporting disaster-affected communities. This reflects a deep sense of social responsibility and compassion.”
She specifically applauded the efforts of MLA Sunder Singh Thakur, calling his initiative a shining example of proactive community leadership during times of need.
Vidya Negi also acknowledged the importance of blending culture with social consciousness, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in rebuilding communities affected by recent natural disasters in the state.
The event was attended by several prominent officials and community members, including Superintendent of Police Kartikeyan Gokulchandran, and showcased vibrant performances that celebrated Himachali traditions and unity.
This year’s Kullu Dussehra is not just a cultural spectacle but also a symbol of solidarity, dedicated to aiding those impacted by recent calamities—a step that has earned widespread appreciation from all quarters.
