CM Sukhu Dedicates Development Projects Worth Rs. 68.42 Crore in Arki Assembly Constituency.

In a major boost to the infrastructure and public service landscape of Arki Assembly Constituency, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid foundation stones for a series of development projects totalling Rs. 68.42 crore.
During a special event held in the constituency, the Chief Minister inaugurated several key infrastructure projects aimed at improving education, public safety, road connectivity, and water supply systems. Addressing a gathering, CM Sukhu highlighted the government’s commitment to balanced development across all regions of Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing the holistic impact these projects will bring to the local population.
Key Inaugurations:
- Education Infrastructure:
- Examination hall at Government Senior Secondary School, Manjyat, built at a cost of Rs. 23.01 lakh.
- Second phase of the school building at Government Senior Secondary School, Bathalang, completed at Rs. 3.72 crore.
- Administrative and Public Safety Buildings:
- Residential building for the Agriculture Extension Office in Arki, constructed for Rs. 45.90 lakh.
- Sub-Treasury building at Darlaghat, completed at a cost of Rs. 2.23 crore.
- Newly built Police Station at Darlaghat, developed at Rs. 4.89 crore.
- Infrastructure & Utilities:
- Manjyat–Patti Devra–Paplou road, built under NABARD funding, with an investment of Rs. 7.78 crore.
- Improvement and reorganization of various water supply schemes under Jal Shakti Sub-Division, Arki, for Rs. 1.35 crore.
- Lift Water Supply Scheme from Gamber Khad to partially covered areas of Arki Assembly, completed at a cost of Rs. 24.48 crore.
Foundation Stones Laid:
Looking ahead, CM Sukhu laid the foundation stones for several new development works:
- Veterinary Hospital at Dumehar – to be constructed at Rs. 58.95 lakh.
- Upgradation of Water Supply for Arki Town – planned at Rs. 18.50 crore.
- Strengthening Water Distribution System for Gram Panchayats Sarayanj and Materni – to cost Rs. 2.32 crore.
- Office-cum-Residential Building for Sub-Divisional Police Officer at Darlaghat – to be constructed for Rs. 1.88 crore.
CM’s Address:
Congratulating the people of Arki, CM Sukhu stated, “These projects are part of our vision to ensure equitable development across Himachal Pradesh. Arki holds significant potential, and we are committed to nurturing it with sustained public investment.”
