Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt greetings to the Indian Air Force personnel and their families on the occasion of the 92nd Air Force Day. Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister lauded the bravery, dedication, and professionalism of the Air Warriors.

“Greetings to all the courageous Air Warriors and their families on Air Force Day,” the Prime Minister wrote. “The Indian Air Force epitomises bravery, discipline and precision. They have played a vital role in safeguarding our skies, including during the most challenging situations. Their role during natural calamities is also very commendable. Their commitment, professionalism and indomitable spirit continue to make every Indian proud.”

Air Force Day is celebrated annually on October 8 to commemorate the official formation of the Indian Air Force in 1932. This day highlights the achievements and sacrifices of the Air Force in defending the nation, both in combat and humanitarian missions.

This year, the Indian Air Force is showcasing its technological advancements and aerial capabilities through a grand air display and ceremonial parade, symbolising its continued commitment to national security and disaster response.

The Prime Minister’s tribute reflects the nation’s deep respect for the guardians of the skies.
