INTACH Mandi Honors Artists, Writers, and Cultural Contributors.

The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Mandi Chapter, organized a special felicitation ceremony today to honor the district’s artists, writers, playwrights, and cultural contributors. The event witnessed the presence of eminent personalities, scholars, and literature lovers, celebrating Mandi’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.
Artists and Writers Felicitated
INTACH Mandi honored the talented individuals by presenting them with mementos, certificates of appreciation, and traditional shawls. The initiative aimed at recognizing outstanding contributions in the fields of art, literature, language, theatre, and cultural preservation.
INTACH’s Role in Promoting Art and Culture
Welcoming the chief guest, INTACH Mandi Coordinator Naresh Malhotra stated that INTACH has always worked to encourage artists and provide them a platform to showcase their talent. He said that such recognitions help artists gain confidence and motivate them to achieve greater milestones.
District Administration’s Support Assured
In his presidential address, Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan assured continued support from the district administration for the development of Mandi’s art, culture, and heritage. He specifically highlighted the importance of Mandi Kalam, stating that the administration has prepared plans to promote it, which will be implemented in the coming months. He also emphasized that other cultural initiatives would be developed with public participation and cooperation.
Encouragement to Cultural Contributors
The Deputy Commissioner encouraged artists, playwrights, and writers to continue their efforts in preserving and promoting local art forms. He assured them that the district administration would provide all possible assistance for such initiatives.
INTACH’s Continued Commitment
Expressing gratitude to all attendees, INTACH Co-Coordinator Anil Sharma said that INTACH would continue to support writers and artists and encourage emerging talents through similar events in the future.
