Winter Queen Manali Sneha Sets Her Sights on Miss Universe, Brings Glory to Himachal Pradesh.
Shimla:
Winning the prestigious Winter Queen title at the renowned Manali Winter Carnival, 20-year-old Sneha from Mandi has emerged as a symbol of talent, determination, and youthful ambition, bringing immense pride to Himachal Pradesh. Her triumph has sparked celebrations across the Mandi district, where she received a warm and enthusiastic welcome on her return.
Sneha’s victory has created a wave of joy among people from all walks of life. Congratulatory messages poured in, praising her hard work, perseverance, and disciplined journey to success. Addressing the media during a press conference in Mandi on Tuesday, Sneha candidly spoke about her struggles, preparation, and the lessons she learned along the way.

“Success does not come overnight. It requires constant effort, discipline, and patience,” she said, reflecting on her journey.
A theatre artist by passion, Sneha is currently pursuing her graduation in Chandigarh. Her artistic journey began at a very young age. Recognising her natural inclination toward the performing arts when she was just three years old, her family introduced her to theatre early on. At the age of seven, she formally began training in Kathak dance, which played a significant role in shaping her stage presence, confidence, and grace.
Over the years, Sneha actively participated in numerous cultural and beauty competitions. While studying in Chandigarh, she competed in several reputed contests and consistently secured positions among the Top-10 finalists. Her association with the Manali Winter Carnival is also not new. In previous editions, she had reached the Top-10 but narrowly missed winning the coveted crown.

Instead of being discouraged by earlier setbacks, Sneha used them as motivation. She intensified her preparation, worked on her skills, and returned stronger this year. Her perseverance paid off when she finally clinched the Winter Queen Manali title, winning the admiration of judges and audiences alike.
Speaking about her future aspirations, Sneha expressed her desire to take Himachal Pradesh and India to the global stage.
“My dream is to compete in the Miss Universe pageant and represent my country and my state at the international level,” she said confidently.
Sneha attributed her success to the unwavering support of her parents and mentors. Her mother, Anju Sharma, Principal of Guru Gobind Public School, said Sneha had shown a deep interest in music, dance, and modelling since childhood. She also revealed that Sneha had earlier secured a place among the Top-50 contestants in the UMB Miss India competition, standing out among thousands of participants nationwide.
Her parents, Anju Sharma and Harish Kumar, expressed immense pride in their daughter’s achievement and affirmed their continued support in helping her fulfill her dreams.
Sneha’s mentors, Isha and Surender Kumar, highlighted the importance of nurturing children according to their talents. They described Sneha’s journey as an inspiring example of what encouragement, guidance, and determination can achieve and wished her great success in the future.
With her crown, confidence, and a clear vision ahead, Winter Queen Manali Sneha is steadily moving toward her dream of making a mark on the international stage and becoming a global ambassador for Himachal Pradesh and India.
