Seraj Congress Leader Jagdish Reddy Highlights Natural Farming and MSP at Farmers’ Fair in Janjheli.

Congress leader from Seraj assembly constituency in Mandi district, Jagdish Reddy, attended a farmers’ fair focused on natural farming at Ambedkar Bhawan in Kataru, Janjheli, where he participated as the chief guest and addressed local farmers.

The event was organized by Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mandi to promote awareness about sustainable agricultural practices. During the programme, Project Director Rakesh Patial, Deputy Project Director Hitender Thakur, along with officials Sanjay Thakur, BTM Chet Ram, ATM Poonam and Dikshit shared guidance with farmers on adopting natural farming techniques and improving soil health.

Addressing the gathering, Reddy spoke about the importance of natural farming and government support for farmers. He also highlighted the state government’s initiative of providing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for key crops.

Reddy said that Himachal Pradesh is currently the only state in the country where the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, is providing MSP on wheat, maize and turmeric.

He emphasized that such policies are aimed at strengthening farmers’ incomes and encouraging sustainable agriculture across the state.
