Cloudburst Tragedy in Chamba: CM Sukhu Expresses Grief, Assures Support to Affected Family.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of a person in a cloudburst that occurred in Dondra Nala near Cheli village in Chamba district. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

In response to the incident, the Chamba district administration has released an interim relief of Rs. 25,000 to the affected family. The cloudburst also caused the loss of approximately 150 sheep and goats, swept away by the sudden floods.

Reaffirming the state government’s commitment, the Chief Minister assured that all necessary support and assistance would be provided to the families impacted by the disaster.
