Shimla:
The Medswan Foundation, which operates the 108 and 102 ambulance services in Himachal Pradesh, organised exciting cricket matches at Sundernagar in Mandi district on Friday under the ongoing “Medswan Cricket League 2026” aimed at promoting employee motivation, team coordination, and a positive work culture.
The sporting event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams representing Kullu, Bilaspur, Mandi, and Lahaul districts. Employees displayed remarkable energy, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament, making the event both engaging and entertaining.
The participation of employees from remote and far-flung areas added special significance to the event, highlighting the growing enthusiasm among staff members towards such recreational and team-building initiatives. The large turnout and active involvement of employees reflected the positive response received by the organisation’s efforts to encourage a healthy and collaborative working environment.
A total of three thrilling matches were played during the day, with players delivering impressive performances on the field. Their energetic participation kept spectators engaged and added excitement to the competition.
For their outstanding performances, the “Man of the Match” awards were presented to Chet Singh and Amit from Kullu district, while Virender from Sarkaghat was also honoured for his exceptional contribution during the matches.
The successful organisation of the tournament was credited largely to the efforts of the Mandi Zone management team. The event was efficiently coordinated and managed by Mandi Zone Managers Saurav Thakur, Ashish Sharma, and Rahul Verma, whose planning and supervision ensured the smooth conduct of the matches.
State Head of Medswan Foundation, Ashok Dasson, was also present on the occasion. Addressing the participants, he said that such activities play an important role in strengthening employees’ morale, team spirit, and mutual cooperation.
He added that the organisation would continue to organise similar creative and recreational initiatives in the future to promote the overall development of employees and foster a healthy and positive workplace environment.
