DAV Cluster Level Sports Tournament 2026 Celebrated with Grandeur and Sporting Spirit.

The two-day DAV Cluster Level Sports Tournament 2026 concluded on a grand and inspiring note after being celebrated with immense enthusiasm, discipline, and sporting fervour on May 22 and 23 at various DAV institutions. The prestigious sporting event brought together budding athletes from across Cluster-3 DAV schools and emerged as a vibrant celebration of talent, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
Nine DAV schools participated enthusiastically in the tournament, including DAV Mandi, DAV Pandoh, DAV Jamthal, DAV Katrain, DAV Ner Chowk, DAV Gohar, DAV Manali, DAV Kullu, and DAV Sundernagar. Nearly 300 athletes participated in various sporting disciplines and displayed remarkable skill, confidence, discipline, and team spirit throughout the tournament.
The prestigious occasion was graced by Chief Guest Vandana Guleria, who appreciated the dedication, perseverance, and competitive spirit shown by the young participants. The gracious presence of Cluster Head R.S. Rana further enhanced the significance of the event and served as a source of motivation and encouragement for all athletes.
Distinguished observers Chandrika Malhotra and Vandana Kapoor highly praised the meticulous organization of the tournament and applauded the commendable performances showcased by the participants. Their appreciation reflected the successful coordination and disciplined execution of the sporting event.
The tournament featured exciting competitions in a wide range of sports, including Kabaddi, Wushu, Kho-Kho, Yoga, Chess, Cricket, Boxing, and Rope Skipping. The young sportspersons demonstrated extraordinary energy, resilience, coordination, and sportsmanship, turning the event into a lively festival of healthy competition and athletic excellence.
A major highlight of the tournament was the felicitation ceremony in which winners and participants achieving excellence in various disciplines were honoured for their outstanding performances. The contribution of sports officials, faculty members, and escort teachers from participating schools was also specially acknowledged. Their tireless efforts, guidance, and cooperation ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the tournament.
Addressing the gathering, Assistant Regional Officer and Principal K.S. Guleria emphasized the importance of sports in shaping students’ personalities and values. He remarked that sports instill confidence, discipline, resilience, leadership, and team spirit among students while providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and imbibe the values of dedication, perseverance, unity, and fair play.
