BJP Holds Protest at Mandap in Mandi, Raises Voice Over Public Issues in Dharampur.

The BJP Dharampur Mandal staged a protest at Mandap under Dharampur assembly constituency of Mandi district on various public-interest issues, accusing the state government and the local MLA of neglecting the area. The demonstration was held under the leadership of BJP Mandal President Lekhraj Thakur, with former minister Thakur Mahender Singh and BJP State Working Committee member Rajat Thakur among those present.
During the protest, BJP workers raised slogans against the state government and the local legislator, expressing anger over what they described as the deteriorating condition of basic public services in Dharampur.
Addressing the gathering, BJP leaders alleged that development activities in the Dharampur area had been severely affected during the present government’s tenure. They claimed that residents were facing difficulties in accessing essential services, particularly in education, healthcare, roads and public transportation.
The leaders alleged that several roads in the area are in poor condition, causing difficulties for commuters. They also raised concerns about inadequate facilities and essential services at healthcare institutions, besides problems related to transportation.
The BJP demanded that pending development projects in Dharampur be expedited and that public issues be addressed on a priority basis. Thakur Mahender Singh and Rajat Thakur said the BJP would continue to raise issues concerning the people and alleged that Dharampur was being ignored by the government.
Following the protest, BJP office-bearers and workers submitted a memorandum to the state government through the Naib Tehsildar, Mandap, highlighting demands related to education, health, roads, transportation and other developmental issues.
The leaders warned of intensified protests if the government failed to take action on the demands.
