DAV Public School BSL Pandoh Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with ‘Raksha Bandhan for All’ Theme.

DAV Public School BSL Pandoh celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm, joy and affection, as the young students of the Kindergarten Wing took part in a special programme based on the theme “Raksha Bandhan for All – To Protect, To Care, To Respect Every Creature of This Earth.”
The programme aimed to familiarise children with the deeper meaning and spirit of Raksha Bandhan. Students were encouraged to understand that the sacred bond of protection is not limited to the relationship between brothers and sisters, but also conveys a wider message of love, care, compassion and respect.
The children were sensitised towards their responsibility towards all living beings, nature and the environment. Through the celebration, they were encouraged to develop empathy and a sense of responsibility towards animals, birds, trees, plants and the natural world.
School Principal Vandana Kapoor apprised the students of the significance of Raksha Bandhan and conveyed the message of mutual love, harmony and brotherhood.
She encouraged the children to show kindness, compassion and respect towards their family members, friends, teachers, animals, birds, plants and nature.
The celebration provided the young learners with an opportunity to understand that the true essence of Raksha Bandhan lies in caring for and protecting every form of life.
