Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Agra Cantt Express Extended Up to Mathura.
Raja ki Mandi, Runkuta, Deen Dayal Dham and Baad to get commercial stoppages, strengthening rail connectivity across Jhansi, Agra and Mathura.

Indian Railways has approved the extension of Train No. 11901/11902 Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Agra Cantt Express up to Mathura station, providing an additional rail service and improved connectivity for passengers travelling between Jhansi, Agra and Mathura.
With the extension, the train will now operate between Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi and Mathura, increasing the total journey distance from 217 km to 270 km. The move is expected to provide greater convenience to passengers travelling between the three important cities and improve access to stations along the extended route.
Under the revised service, Train No. 11901 will depart from Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 4:00 PM and reach Mathura at 11:00 PM. In the return direction, Train No. 11902 will originate from Mathura at 5:05 AM and arrive at Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 12:50 PM.
Four additional commercial stoppages
As part of the extension, the service will have commercial stoppages at Raja ki Mandi, Runkuta, Deen Dayal Dham and Baad. The introduction of these stoppages will provide passengers from these locations with direct access to the extended train service.
The additional stoppages are also expected to improve connectivity for passengers travelling towards Mathura, Agra and Jhansi, while facilitating easier access to intermediate locations along the route.
Improved connectivity between Jhansi, Agra and Mathura
The extension of the Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Agra Cantt Express to Mathura is aimed at strengthening passenger connectivity across the region. The extended service will provide an additional travel option for passengers moving between Bundelkhand, Agra and the Mathura region.
The service is also expected to benefit passengers requiring rail connectivity to intermediate stations, particularly with the addition of commercial stoppages at Raja ki Mandi, Runkuta, Deen Dayal Dham and Baad.
The extension forms part of Indian Railways’ efforts to enhance passenger services by expanding train connectivity and improving access to important destinations and intermediate stations. The revised operation will provide passengers with an extended rail link connecting Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi with Mathura via Agra.
