Hindi Fortnight Celebrated with Enthusiasm at DAV Public School BSL Pandoh in Mandi.

Hindi Fortnight was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at DAV Public School BSL Pandoh in Mandi district from September 14 to 26, 2026. The fortnight-long programme was organised with the objective of developing love, interest, respect and awareness towards the Hindi language among students.
A variety of educational and creative activities and competitions were conducted throughout the celebration. These included Hindi poetry recitation, handwriting, motto writing, slogan writing, debate and several other language-based competitions. Students participated actively and enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity, confidence, talent and command of the Hindi language.
The activities provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of Hindi as a language of communication and expression. They also encouraged students to express their ideas and thoughts effectively while developing their linguistic and creative skills.
On the occasion, Principal Vandana Kapur encouraged the students to take an active interest in the Hindi language. Addressing the students, she highlighted that Hindi is an important part of India’s cultural identity and serves as a powerful medium of expression. She urged the students to respect and promote the language and encouraged them to make greater use of Hindi in their daily lives.
The successful celebration of Hindi Fortnight created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and participation among the students. The various competitions and activities helped foster a sense of belonging, confidence and creative expression while strengthening students’ appreciation of Hindi and Indian culture.
The initiative was a commendable effort by DAV Public School BSL Pandoh towards promoting Hindi, enhancing linguistic skills and nurturing respect for India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage among the students.
