Explosions Rock Southern Beirut Amid Escalating Israel-Hezbollah Tensions.

Beirut:

Powerful explosions were reported in southern Beirut as the Israeli military launched fresh airstrikes targeting Hezbollah strongholds. The Israeli Defense Forces claimed to have struck weapons storage facilities, leading to significant secondary explosions in the area.

These attacks follow new evacuation orders issued by Israel for residents in southern Lebanon. Earlier reports indicated the Israeli military had killed Hezbollah commander Khader Ali Tawil, though the group has yet to comment on his death.

In related developments, flights have resumed at two airports in Tehran after Iran announced a mass cancellation in response to Israeli warnings of retaliation for a missile attack.

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the 7 October Hamas attacks, which resulted in the deaths of approximately 1,200 people and the abduction of 251 hostages in Israel.
