Himachal Dev Sena Launches Website to Address Blood Shortages in Emergencies in Himachal.

Shimla:

The Himachal Dev Sena NGO has launched a new website aimed at providing crucial information about blood donors during emergencies in Himachal. The initiative was unveiled by Teja Devi, the President of the Women’s Wing of the organization, who emphasized the need for immediate access to blood donors for patients in critical conditions.

The website, www.himachalblooddonors.in, will offer comprehensive details about blood donors across all districts in the state, making it easier for caregivers to find assistance when facing blood shortages. Devi highlighted the challenges faced by relatives of hospitalized patients who often struggle to secure blood during emergencies.

The NGO plans to share this resource with government hospitals throughout the state, ensuring that caregivers can swiftly access the information without unnecessary delays. The blood donated can be life-saving for women facing pregnancy complications, accident victims, children suffering from severe anemia due to malnutrition, and cancer patients undergoing treatment.

Teja Devi urged all potential blood donors to register their information on the website to facilitate help when needed. The site was developed by Manish Vats, the organization’s founder and a professional software engineer.

The launch event was attended by key members of the organization, including Manish Vats, Women’s Wing Secretary Meenu Rana, General Secretary Sangeet Chauhan, Youth President Sunil Kumar, Dr. Raj Kumar, and other members.
