Tribute to Martyrs:  Former President of the District Congress Committee, Deepak Sharma, Announces Honor Programs in Mandi.

Former President of the District Congress Committee, Deepak Sharma, announced a series of tribute programs in honor of martyrs in Mandi district today. Inspired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s vision, the initiative aims to recognize the sacrifices of soldiers in the Sadar Assembly constituency.

Under the “In Honor of Martyrs” program, events will be held in the villages of martyrs on their martyrdom days or birthdays. These programs will celebrate the lives and contributions of the fallen soldiers, while also honoring their families. Deepak Sharma emphasized that these commemorations will take place annually to instill a sense of patriotism in the community and foster respect for the martyrs and their families.

Highlighting Himachal Pradesh’s legacy as a land of heroes, Sharma remarked on the commitment of local youth to serve the nation. Many have joined the armed forces, and countless others have made the ultimate sacrifice, serving as an inspiration for future generations.
