Modi Government Continues to Strengthen Development in Himachal: Rakesh Jamwal.
3.85 Crore Grant for Sewerage Connectivity in Sundernagar’s Ropa and Bechna Areas.
Shimla:
The BJP-led central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is giving top priority to the development of Himachal Pradesh, consistently supporting the strengthening of infrastructure across the state. In a significant move to improve sanitation and infrastructure in Sundernagar, areas like Ropa and Bechna, which were previously deprived of sewerage services, will now be connected to the sewerage network. This development highlights the government’s commitment to Himachal’s progress under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
The central government has approved a grant of 3.85 crore rupees for laying the sewerage network in Ropa and Bechna areas. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for this project was approved by the government, marking a significant milestone for Sundernagar’s infrastructure development.
BJP’s Chief Spokesperson and Sundernagar MLA, Rakesh Jamwal, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Urban Development, Manohar Lal Khattar, for their support in making this project a reality.
Rakesh Jamwal stated that this project would be a major relief for the residents of Sundernagar, improving sanitation facilities and raising the standard of basic infrastructure in the city. He also emphasized that the BJP-led central government is committed to improving the living conditions of the people of Himachal and ensuring that no area is left behind in terms of essential amenities.
While addressing the ongoing political situation in Himachal Pradesh, Jamwal criticized the performance of the Congress government in the state, accusing it of failing to deliver on developmental fronts. He stated, “Due to the inefficiency of the Congress government, development projects have come to a halt, leaving the public to struggle for basic amenities. However, under the leadership of the BJP, the central government will not allow Himachal to fall behind.”
Jamwal also pointed out that while the BJP focuses on real development, Congress is engaged in making false promises and misleading the public. He reiterated that the funds approved for the sewerage project will benefit the residents of Sundernagar and reflect the BJP government’s unwavering commitment to the state’s progress and the well-being of its people.
This grant is seen as a part of the central government’s broader vision to enhance basic infrastructure and improve the quality of life for the people of Himachal Pradesh.
