Thakar Dass Appointed District Organizing Secretary of INTUC Mandi.

Thakar Dass, son of Alam Chand and a resident of village Mughan in Thunag, District Mandi, has been appointed as the District Organizing Secretary of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), Mandi unit. The appointment has been made with immediate effect, according to an official statement released by Y.P. Kapoor, District President of INTUC Mandi.

Thakar Dass brings with him grassroots-level experience and a strong understanding of workers’ issues in rural and semi-urban areas. His appointment is seen as a move to strengthen the organizational structure of INTUC in the region and to ensure better representation of workers from remote areas of the district.

Y.P. Kapoor congratulated Thakar Dass on his new role and expressed confidence that he would work diligently to uphold the values of INTUC and address the concerns of the working class in the district. The INTUC, affiliated with the Indian National Congress, is one of the largest trade unions in the country and has been actively involved in promoting labour rights and welfare across sectors.
