Shimla:
A tragic landslide triggered by heavy rainfall struck Baragata village in Hada Boi Panchayat of Sundernagar constituency, claiming the lives of three individuals, including two women and an infant. BJP Chief Spokesperson and local MLA Rakesh Jamwal confirmed that the postmortem of the deceased has been completed, and the survivors have been safely shifted to Sunni Civil Hospital for medical evaluation and care.

The incident has once again raised concerns about the vulnerability of hill regions to landslides during the monsoon season. Relief efforts are ongoing, and local authorities are keeping a close watch on weather conditions to prevent further incidents.
The state administration continues to provide necessary aid, while political leaders across party lines have united in extending condolences and support to the affected families.
