The two-day Annual Athletic Competitions concluded successfully at Vallabh Government College, Mandi, with the college Principal, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, gracing the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest.
In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized that sports are the foundation of holistic development. The impressive march-past presented by the NCC units mesmerized everyone with its discipline, coordination, and outstanding presentation. The Principal praised the NCC officers, cadets, and students for organizing such a magnificent march-past.

During the two-day event, students showcased their hidden talents, dedication, and sportsmanship, making the meet a vibrant display of energy and excellence. The Principal congratulated all the medal winners and encouraged them to continue striving for progress, stating that discipline and dedication are the true pillars of success—in sports as well as in life.
Presenting the detailed report of the meet, Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Athletic Meet Coordinator, informed that a total of 1500 participants took part enthusiastically, making the event a remarkable celebration of sportsmanship and determination. He highlighted that teamwork played a vital role in the grand success of the event. The winners of various events will now represent the college in the upcoming SPU Inter-College Competitions.
Organizing Secretary, Dr. Sunil Sen, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to NCC, NSS, the college staff, and the Principal for their continuous cooperation and support throughout the Athletic Meet.
