Abhyudaya–2026: School of Agriculture at Abhilashi University Welcomes Freshers, Honours Distinguished Alumni.

The School of Agriculture at Abhilashi University organized “Abhyudaya–2026” to extend a warm welcome to its new batch of students in a vibrant and inspiring ceremony.
The programme was inaugurated by Chancellor Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, who encouraged students to take inspiration from the achievements of their seniors and underscored the importance of valuing time throughout their academic journey. Senior students greeted the freshers with enthusiasm, making the event lively and memorable.
A major highlight of the event was the presence of five distinguished alumni along with their parents. Twinkle, Khushdil Bharti, Paras Gupta, and Manjul Sharma were recently selected as Agricultural Development Officers, while Akshit Sharma secured selection as Executive Officer in APMC, Himachal Pradesh. The alumni were felicitated by the Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi for their outstanding accomplishments.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.K. Chaudhary congratulated the newly appointed officers and highlighted the crucial role of agricultural scientists in achieving food grain self-sufficiency. He motivated students to pursue excellence in the agricultural sector, emphasizing its immense potential for national growth.
The cultural segment featured a captivating Himachali Natti performance by senior students, earning loud applause from the audience. Dean, School of Agriculture, Prof. P.C. Sharma thanked the university management for providing excellent infrastructure and continuous support.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dean Academic Affairs Dr. S.K. Shukla, Registrar Dr. Kapil Kapoor, Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Devender Sharma, Controller of Examination P.C. Thakur, Dean Veterinary Sciences Dr. R.K. Asrani, Dean Ayurveda Dr. D.K. Mishra, Sr. Consultant (Vety.) Dr. V.K. Gupta, along with faculty members and department heads.
