Trump Claims U.S. Has “Severely Weakened” Iran’s Military, Says Tehran ‘Begging for a Deal’.

Washington, D.C.:

U.S. President Donald J Trump has made strong remarks against Iran, asserting that the United States would never allow terrorism to be used as a pathway to acquiring advanced weaponry, while claiming that recent American military actions have significantly degraded Iran’s capabilities.

In a forceful statement, Trump said that over the past several weeks, the United States Armed Forces—which he described as “the most powerful in the world”—has carried out precise operations targeting Iran’s military infrastructure. According to him, these actions have “annihilated” key components of Iran’s military capacity with an unprecedented level of precision and effectiveness.

The U.S. President also alleged that Iran had recently launched further aggressive actions, even as tensions continue to escalate in the region. He accused Tehran of previously denying its willingness to engage in talks, only to later shift its stance. “They said they weren’t going to negotiate, but now they are begging to make a deal,” Trump claimed, suggesting that sustained U.S. pressure has forced Iran to reconsider its position.

Trump further reiterated his long-standing stance that the United States would not tolerate any efforts by adversarial nations to support terrorism or develop advanced weapons that could threaten American interests or its allies.

The remarks come amid heightened geopolitical tensions and conflicting narratives from both sides regarding military developments and diplomatic engagement. While the U.S. administration projects strength and strategic success, officials in Iran have historically pushed back against such claims, often disputing the scale and impact of American operations.

Analysts note that such statements could further intensify the already fragile situation in the region, potentially complicating diplomatic efforts while reinforcing a hardline posture on both sides.

The situation remains fluid, with global observers closely monitoring developments between Washington and Tehran as concerns over regional stability continue to grow.
