PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh Attends Grand Finale of ‘Cricket Kranti Season–5’ in Rohru.

The historic Indira Gandhi Sports Ground Rohru witnessed an energetic and inspiring atmosphere as the closing ceremony of “Cricket Kranti Season–5” was held with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, who expressed happiness and appreciation for the vibrant participation of local youth.
Addressing the gathering, Singh lauded the enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed by the players throughout the tournament. He emphasized that the energy and dedication of young people reflect their immense potential to bring about positive change in society if guided in the right direction with proper opportunities.
Encouraging the youth, the minister urged them to actively engage in sports, not only to enhance their physical fitness and personality but also to stay away from social evils such as drug abuse. He highlighted that sports play a crucial role in building discipline, confidence, and leadership qualities—values that are essential for creating a strong society and a progressive nation.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to balanced regional development, Singh stated that continuous efforts are being made to ensure that every village and every region benefits equally from development initiatives, leaving no area behind.
On this occasion, Minister was accompanied by local Mohan Lal Brakta, Congress leader Surender Raitka and other dignitaries on the stage.
