The Table Tennis Competition organised as part of the ongoing Tribal Festival 2026 witnessed impressive performances by players, who displayed skill, discipline, determination and true sportsmanship throughout the event.
The competition featured an Open Category for players above 16 years of age, with several closely contested and exciting matches. Players demonstrated strong technical skills and competitive spirit, keeping spectators engaged and creating an energetic atmosphere at the venue.

In the Open Singles Category, Vedik Sharma of Manali emerged victorious, securing first place and the winner’s title. Saurav Sumanmpa of the Police Department finished as the runner-up. Both players delivered an impressive performance, showcasing their control, consistency and competitive ability during the matches.
The Open Doubles Category also witnessed intense competition. The Police Department pair of Saurav Sumanmpa and Amit secured first position to claim the winners’ title. The duo displayed excellent coordination and teamwork throughout the competition.

Deepak Thakur and Yashasvi of GSSS Gondhla put up a strong performance in the doubles category and finished as runners-up. Their performance was appreciated by spectators and fellow participants.
