DC Mandi Listens to Grievances of Single Women at His Office.

Deputy Commissioner Mandi on Thursday listened to the grievances and demands of single women from different parts of the district during a public hearing held at his office.

The programme was organized by the Ekal Nari Shakti Sangathan, Mandi district, to provide single women with a platform to directly raise their concerns before the district administration. Several women presented their individual and community-related issues and sought timely intervention for their resolution.

The Deputy Commissioner listened to the concerns of the participants and assured them that their grievances would be examined and necessary action would be taken as per the applicable rules and procedures.

District Coordinator Meena Sharma was present during the hearing along with around 25 single women. Participants included Leela Devi from Chauntra Block and Meena Devi, Preeti, Bhagta, Seema, Hansha Devi, Chandni, Monika and Krishna from the Saraj Block.

The organization expressed hope that the administration would take appropriate steps to address the issues raised during the meeting. The meeting also provided the women an opportunity to communicate their concerns directly to the district authorities.
