The conference focused on enhancing counter-terrorism measures, improving coordination among security agencies, and addressing emerging national security challenges.

Amit Shah proposed a detailed strategy to bolster counter-terrorism efforts, which includes collaborating with international agencies and enhancing capacities to prevent terror financing. He stressed the need for improved cooperation between the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and State Anti-Terrorist Squads (ATSs) to strengthen the counter-terrorism framework. Shah expressed satisfaction with progress in anti-Maoist operations but cautioned states to remain vigilant in areas recently freed from armed formations.

In his concluding remarks, Amit Shah urged state Directors General of Police (DGsP) to align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a prosperous and developed India by 2047. He highlighted significant progress in addressing legacy national security issues like Jammu & Kashmir, Left Wing Extremism, and North-East insurgencies, while also emphasizing the need to tackle emerging challenges such as narcotics, rogue drones, and online fraud.

He urged DGsP to enhance internal security by utilizing advanced data analytics and new techniques, ensuring that central agency databases are fully leveraged.
