CBI conducted raid in Kullu, recovered Rs. 2 lakh from a Sub Post Master.

The team of Central Bureau of Investigation has conducted a raid at the premises of a Sub Post Master at Kullu in Himachal Pradesh today and recovered Rs 2 lakh cash certain incriminating documents.
It was alleged that the said officer had misappropriated government funds and a case was registered against her.
According to official sources, the CBI registered the instant case against the accused officer, posted at Sub Post Office, Sultanpur in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, on the allegations of misappropriating government funds entrusted to her.
“It was also alleged that during the period August 2023 to January 2024 an amount of Rs.36,30,125/- (Approx.) were misappropriated by the accused officer. Further, accused allegedly had prepared fake Daily Transactions Report” the sources said.
