MLA Mohan Lal Brakta Inaugurates Mahila Mandal Bhawan at Thana Village in Rohru, Promises Continued Support for Local Development.

In a significant step toward strengthening community infrastructure and women’s empowerment, the Congress MLA from Rohru assembly constituency Mohan Lal Brakta inaugurated the newly constructed Mahila Mandal Bhawan in Thana village under the Runser area of Rohru assembly constituency in Shimla district. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of local residents, women’s groups, and community leaders who gave the MLA a warm and enthusiastic welcome.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA Brakta expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Thana and members of the local Mahila Mandal for their affection and grand reception. He emphasized that the new building would serve as a hub for women-led initiatives, social gatherings, and self-help group activities, helping to enhance participation of women in local development.

Reaffirming his commitment to the progress of the region, the MLA assured that the state government and his office would continue to work hand in hand with local residents to improve infrastructure, education, and social welfare facilities.
