He reiterated the government’s dedication to improving essential services like healthcare, education, and employment, all of which hinge on robust infrastructure.
Gadkari was today at Karsog in Mandi district to address a public meeting in favour of BJP candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency actress Kangana Ranaut.
“The Chardham project, flaunting world-class highways valued at Rs 12,000 crores, has sparked pilgrimage and tourism, experiencing an unprecedented surge in visitors. The government’s persistent focus on building high-quality roads has not only united the nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari but has also enhanced resource management and economic efficacy” he added.
“Additionally, initiatives such as the Green Highway and Green Corridor showcase a commitment to sustainable development. Controlled-access roads ensure seamless travel experiences for citizens, advancing connectivity and accessibility nationwide” he said.
“In Himachal Pradesh, ambitious projects including highways, ropeways, and cable cars are underway, with the aim of elevating the state’s infrastructure and fostering economic prosperity. The BJP government envisions a future where Himachal Pradesh thrives, driven by robust infrastructure and a burgeoning tourism sector” he mentioned.
“The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, a flagship BJP scheme, has linked over 4.50 lakh villages nationwide, with significant progress in Himachal Pradesh. Moreover, large-scale infrastructure projects like the Kishau Dam, Renuka Ji Dam, and Lakhwar Dam underscore the government’s commitment to resource utilization and inter-state conflict resolution” he said.
“Furthermore, the agricultural sector has witnessed transformative changes, with farmers transitioning from food providers to energy suppliers through initiatives like biofuel production. Embracing technological advancements, the government is spearheading the adoption of electric vehicles and exploring innovative solutions such as CNG production from agricultural waste” he remarked.
Gadkari reiterated the government’s dedication to serving marginalized sections of society, exemplified by initiatives like promoting e-rickshaws over hand-pulled ones and introducing electric tractors and vehicles fueled by ethanol. The government’s track record of infrastructure development, including tunnels, highways, and airports, underscores its commitment to propelling India towards global leadership, he pointed out.
Looking ahead, Gadkari expressed confidence in India’s potential to emerge as a Vishwa Guru, emphasizing inclusive development to integrate all sections of society into the mainstream. He extended support to Kangana Ranaut, recognizing her dedication to Himachal Pradesh’s development and urging voters to elect her from Mandi Lok Sabha seat as a MP committed to the state’s progress.
In conclusion, the BJP’s vision for Himachal Pradesh revolves around transformative infrastructure development, economic prosperity, and inclusive growth, all underpinned by Gadkari unwavering commitment to nation-building.
