PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh assures full support for development; Mandi to get high-pressurized filter drinking water scheme.

Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh, during his inspection of various development projects in Mandi district, pledged unwavering support for the region’s progress. He assured additional funds for crucial projects like the Machhyal bridge, emphasizing the timely completion of infrastructure endeavors.
Addressing the media, Singh highlighted the imperative of respecting the electorate’s mandate, acknowledging the diverse voting patterns observed in recent elections. While reflecting on the electoral outcome for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat, Singh expressed a commitment to learn from the results and uphold the democratic process.
In a veiled reference to newly elected MP Kangana Ranaut, Singh underscored the importance of prioritizing constituency responsibilities, affirming his readiness to collaborate for the betterment of Mandi’s constituents. He outlined ambitious plans for Mandi’s development, including the implementation of a high-pressurized filter drinking water scheme, facilitated by the World Bank. This initiative aims to ensure round-the-clock access to clean water in the city, pending final approval.
Singh also unveiled plans to rejuvenate water bodies like the Suketi river and develop the Beas riverfront, signaling a comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability and urban planning. With a vision for holistic progress, Singh remains dedicated to realizing Mandi’s potential through strategic development initiatives.
He was accompanied by senior congress leaders Kaul Singh Thakur, Sohan Lal Thakur, Champa Thakur and others.
