India Beat England by 7 Runs to Enter T20 World Cup Final.

Defending champions India national cricket team secured a thrilling seven-run victory over England national cricket team in the second semifinal of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on Thursday, booking their place in the tournament final.
The high-scoring clash in Mumbai saw India put up a massive total of 253 runs before restricting England to 246 for seven in their 20 overs.
India will now face New Zealand national cricket team in the final scheduled for Sunday.
Samson Leads India’s Batting Charge
After being sent in to bat, India produced an explosive batting performance led by opener Sanju Samson, who smashed a blistering 89 runs off just 42 balls. His innings included seven towering sixes and eight boundaries, setting the foundation for India’s imposing total.
Samson received strong support from several middle-order batters. Shivam Dube contributed a quick 43 runs, while Ishan Kishan added 39. All-rounder Hardik Pandya chipped in with a rapid 27, and Tilak Varma scored a handy 21 to push India to a formidable 253 for seven in their allotted 20 overs.
For England, Will Jacks and Adil Rashid were the most successful bowlers, claiming two wickets each while trying to contain the Indian batting onslaught.
Bethell’s Heroics Not Enough for England
In response, England launched an aggressive chase but fell just short despite a sensational century by Jacob Bethell. The young batter played a remarkable knock of 105 runs from only 48 balls, keeping England in the hunt throughout the innings.
However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to maintain the required scoring rate against India’s bowling attack.
Among the Indian bowlers, Hardik Pandya stood out with figures of 2 for 38, while Jasprit Bumrah delivered an economical spell, finishing with 1 for 33. Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel and Varun Chakravarthy also picked up one wicket each to restrict England to 246 for seven.
India March into Final
With the win, India advanced to the final of the tournament where they will take on New Zealand in what promises to be a highly anticipated title clash. The victory keeps India’s hopes alive for successfully defending their T20 World Cup crown.
